Soaps by Nicole

Indulge in the simple luxury of handmade soaps by Nicole. Carrying on a craft handed down to her by her Acadian grandmother, soap making is the bond that still exists between grandmother and granddaughter over time. The result is a wonderful line of exquisite soaps and soap products. “I watched my grandmother make soap as a little girl,” says Nicole, “and I feel close to her in re-kindling her craft.” Indeed, having spent her childhood closely observing her grandmother’s soap-making activities, Nicole today utilizes many of her grandmother’s authentic techniques as her inspiration for producing soaps made from her own recipes. Using a unique blend of natural vegetable oils, essential oils, herbs, and spices, Nicole produces fifteen different kinds of soaps with such scents as lavender, mint, and patchouli among others. Nicole’s soaps exude aromatherapy qualities that aid in relaxation and stress reduction. Smooth textures and rich, creamy lathers are the hallmarks of these fine soaps made with every attention to detail. Not only do they smell delightful, they are also an essential component to clean, healthy skin!
Nicole first began creating her soaps in 1997 while living in Calgary. Having now returned to the Acadian land of her roots, she presently resides in Shediac, N.B., where she continues to share her craft with others. Nicole’s soaps can be found each Saturday at the Marché Dieppe Market, Sundays in the summertime at the Shediac Market, and Thursdays at the Centre-Ville Mall in Downtown Shediac. Nicole also provides local gift shops, hotels, and bed and breakfast establishments with her quality soaps. The perfect gift for family and friends, or as a treat for oneself, Nicole’s soaps are the ultimate in pampering. Contact Nicole at (506) 351-0645, access her website at http://www.soapsbynicole.com, or visit her at any of the various venues where you will find the still recognizable face of her childhood self emblazoned on her logo radiating an innocence and purity well-reflected in the purity and goodness of the soaps she makes.
