Annie Pat’s Teddy Bear Creations

It’s a Teddy Bears’ Picnic every Saturday at the Marché Moncton Market at Ann Rogers’ Annie Pat’s Teddy Bear Creations booth! Showcasing the extraordinary talent of local craftsperson and entrepreneur Ann Rogers, teddy bears created by Ann are comprised of fur from old fur coats. It is re-cycling of the highest order with the results that are truly lovely. Plush and luxurious as only real fur can impart, Ann’s teddy bears are constructed from scratch to her own designs. Truly inspirational, each bear seems to have a personality of its own with facial expressions that convey emotion. Drawn and spray painted by Ann herself, the facial details add character to each bear and the clothing and accessories combine to provide a cast of characters that ranges from the avid golfer or gruff grandfather to the cute miss in furs such as mink, mouton, muskrat, or fox to name but a few. Utilizing material from customers’ discarded fur coats or her own fur, Ann’s work is exquisite and her bears are destined to become family heirlooms or valued additions to collections everywhere.

Ann Rogers has been a resident of the Town of Riverview all her life. Her unique combination of an entrepreneurial drive and creative vision has parlayed itself into various ventures over the years with the result that Ann’s talents are well known to area residents.
