Studio Dermak

Studio Dermak of 127 Albenie Street in Dieppe is a unique facility that combines science and technology as well as artistic skill in aesthetics. At the forefront of the beauty industry, Studio Dermak specializes in dermagraphics in permanent makeup and body art techniques rendered in combination with traditional aesthetic treatments. One of just a few such facilities in the Province of New Brunswick, Studio Dermak’s mission is “to assist in restoring beauty and confidence to its clientele through art, technology, and professionalism.

Studio Dermak offers a range of aesthetic services that include micro-pigmentation for the purposes of aesthetic enhancement such as permanent eyebrow, eyeliner, and lip definition; and camouflage therapy such as scar concealment and areola restoration following breast surgery. In the case of the latter, Studio Dermak works in tandem with the medical profession through referrals by area doctors. Other specialized services include decorative tattooing to clients’ specifications using their own designs or designs provided by Studio Dermak. Traditional aesthetics in hair removal include various methods such as warm wax, body sugaring, or electrolysis. Utilizing the latest technology, the most up-to-date techniques, the best equipment, and the highest qualifications, Studio Dermak offers complete consultations prior to each service with explanations of procedures, before and after photos, and client references.

Studio Dermak is the creation of Lisette Meuse-Manuel, a fully certified and licensed micro-pigmentation artist, aesthetician, and electrologist who has been in the beauty industry since 1988. With training from the Canadian Micro-pigmentation Centre in Ontario and membership in the Cosmetology Association of New Brunswick, Lisette is also a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. Constantly working to upgrade her skills by attending workshops and conventions, Lisette has built a stellar reputation for impeccable work amongst a clientele that is growing. Indeed, Lisette’s background in paramedical aesthetics with laser and micro-dermabrasion has served her well, and her experience as spa director, technical trainer, and instructor for Medes College of Aesthetics in Moncton has led naturally to her wanting the challenge of starting her own business. In operation since January, 2008, Studio Dermak has great plans for the future. “I plan a back-to-basics approach to skin care,” says Lisette, “utilizing organic ingredients with a ‘green’ concern for both my clients’ sense of wellness and the environment.” Indeed, with greater concern among the population today for safe, organic ingredients, even the pigments used by Studio Dermak are high grade, mineral, non-allergic pigments, especially designed and made in Canada for sensitive areas.
