Established in 1989, Seawind Buffalo Farm began with 40 wild buffalo shipped in from Manitoba. Purchased two years ago by Marco Servant, it is his intention to make buffalo meat more accessible in response to a growing demand for this quality meat. "Sales of buffalo meat are definitely on the increase," says Mr. Servant. "Buffalo meat has been very well received by the public." With a commitment to refrain from force feeding, antibiotics and hormones, Seawind buffalo are naturally fed on haylage, grass, and hay in a natural environment that has been government inspected to ensure proper rearing and slaughtering standards.Seawind Buffalo Ranch is also a wild adventure for the whole family.
