Springbrook Farm is owned and operated by the Gagnon family. A 400-acre spread “where the air is sweeter, the folks are friendlier, and time is measured by the seasons,” Springbrook Farm is run by the ‘all natural’ philosophy. Harkening back to the time when all food came from your local farmer, the Gagnon family believes that their customers deserve the security of a hands-on approach to selling their products, ensuring quality, a safe food source, and benefits to the community since all profits stay in the region. With a commitment to freshness and quality in their products, Springbrook Farm uses no steroids, hormones, tenderizers, pesticides, drugs, chemicals, vaccines, or medications in raising their animals and no animal byproducts in the feeds their animals consume. As Jean-Pierre Gagnon says, “We pride ourselves on our excellent product. It’s a fresh, local product and with a licensed abattoir onsite, our farm can oversee quality control from beginning to end in the meat preparation process.” Also wholesale dealers, Springbrook Farm provides many area businesses with their quality meats.

Springbrook Farm’s fresh and delicious products are also available at the Marché Moncton Market, Bathurst Farmers Market, Tracadie Farmers Market, and Bouctouche Farmers Market on Saturdays and at the Dieppe Farmers Market’s Mini Market held from 1 PM to 6 PM every Wednesday and Thursday. Indeed, perennials can be planted throughout the summer and well into the fall, providing beauty to any landscaped area. Looking for that special accent for your garden? Visit Northern Arrow Farm’s wonderful display and take advantage of their special offerings. Maritime summers are short. Brighten your corner of the world with a flowering plant from the market. Harry's Pizza

Harry’s Pizza at the Marché Moncton Market is one of the busiest spots at the market on Saturdays and – no surprise! The sumptuous smell hits you first. Then you notice the engaging Chef Harry Stam whose infectious smile and upbeat personality instantly attracts you. Next, you’ll notice the work table filled with fresh ingredients with Harry’s nimble fingers chopping up crisp green peppers, luscious tomatoes, tender mushrooms, juicy onions, and even apples – all great toppers for his lavishly spread pizza cooked on the spot in a huge pizza oven.

Harry’s special pizzas start out on 12-grain par-baked dough prepared with no preservatives or additives. Harry then adds unique combinations of toppers all purchased at the market from other vendors for a 100% market creation. Ground beef, pepperoni, peppers, tomatoes, onions, apples, and cheeses are all supplied from market vendors in a wonderful spirit of mutual support which is great for the vendors and for the customers alike. The result is a pizza that’s delicious, fresh, and healthy. Customers line up for a chance to purchase this special item weekly.

Speaking of weekly – Harry promotes a special pizza each week. Usually the result of Harry’s own creativity, the weekly special is certainly one that’s most looked forward to by regular customers, so much so that it’s often sold out. This past week, Harry created a superb pizza – the Curry + Apple + Beef Pizza with the following tempting ingredients: curry ground beef (Madras curry in a tomato and ginger sauce), onions, mushrooms, green peppers, sweet apple, mozzarella cheese, medium cheddar cheese, smoky Gouda cheese, and Swiss cheese. Harry also uses basic pizza sauce to which he adds fresh herbs and spices and a dash of Frank’s Hot Pepper Sauce to taste.

Love pizza? When you visit the market, order one of Harry’s Specials or any other of his delicious offerings. Want a custom order? Just let Harry know your favourite toppings. Harry’s Pizza – it’s great to eat on the spot or to take home to enjoy later!
