Kurt and Katharina Zeltner’s beeswax candles and ornaments are truly a joy to behold. Their lovely kiosk at the Marché Moncton Market is filled with beautiful wax ornaments and candles as well as carved wooden objects of art all handmade with exquisite attention to detail and all exhibiting unique styles that are a mix of new and innovative designs blended with traditional renderings, some of which are 100 years old. Indeed, Blue Flag’s collection of beeswax ornaments and candles "incorporate some of your suggestions as well as new design ideas. As always, our customers’ needs drive our design and creative process," say Kurt and Katharina who are proud of their high quality and workmanship.

Made from 100% beeswax which has a high melting point at 65º C or 170º F, Blue Flag’s candles are long burning, offering many hours of light and beauty, just perfect for creating the right mood for any setting. Great for gifts for family and friends, candles and ornaments come in a wide selection of styles and sizes, from larger tabletop sizes to miniature tea lights and floaters. There are pillar shapes, rounds and ovals, cherubs, hearts and angels, and delightful egg-shaped, exquisitely carved "surprise" candles which contain charms revealed when eventually melted.

They now make their home in Nova Scotia where they maintain a property with a workshop at 4298 Nappan Road (Route 302) just off Highway 104 and Highway 2 outside Amherst.
