Codiac Cheese

Welcome to a world of cheeses at the market! Codiac Cheese brings a great selection of delicious specialty cheeses from the world over to the Marché Moncton Market each Saturday in a kiosk filled with exotic tastes in fine cheeses. There are wonderful offerings from England, Ireland, France, Holland, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia, and Greece with almost every type of cheese on sale.

There are sumptuous cheddars including medium and old, Skim Milk, Monterey Jack, Jalapeno, and Sheep Cheese with Sundried Tomatoes. English cheeses feature Stilton, Cheddar with Claret, and Derby Sage to name a few highlights. The Irish Guiness cheese is lovely to look at and is a real treat, and the Dutch Goudas in various varieties such as Smoked or with Cracked Pepper are simply wonderful. Classic French cheeses offer Brie, Oka, and L’Eveque, and all the Italian cheeses are available including Asiago, Gorgonzola, Provolone, and Mozzarella. There is every type of Havarti such as Creamy, Dill, Herb and Spice, and Salsa, not to mention Scandinavian Danish Blue, Jarlsberg, and Lappi. Love Swiss cheese? There’s Gruyere in Regular and Organic, and don’t forget the Greek/Bulgarian Feta!

Codiac Cheese is a family owned and operated business which hails from Fredericton. Heather Armstrong and her dad, Bob, import special international cheeses directly from their country of origin to bring to the marketplace. An interesting and rewarding venture, Codiac Cheese has been very well received by Moncton marketgoers, and their kiosk is always a busy place on Saturdays.

Love to entertain? Try these terrific cheeses – they’re great for family get-togethers, hors d’ouvres for that special party or summer fun. Tasty and nutritious, be sure to sample all the different varieties of cheeses at Codiac Cheese. Bon appétit!
